Juna Luna's house is where we kick-off Ylocosining
Ylocosining kicks-off November 24 at Luna Shrine in Badoc, Ilocos Norte-- birthplace of Juan Luna, one of Maharlika's greatest painters, who lived during the Spanish Colonial Period and became world-renowned.
The house was restored to its original form in 1977.
Artifacts and copies of paintings of Luna are on display inside the house.
The MAWF leaders and coordinators study the "Parisian Life" further after hearing a remarkable interpretation of the painting.
The architecture of the place is just wonderful!
Noticed the huge statue of Juna Luna in the yard?
The upstairs living room with its wooden floor adds to the classic ambiance of the place.
Museum guide Francis shares more fascinating facts about Luna to the the MAWF leaders.
We hope to see you in Ilocos soon!
